August 25, 2018 - Podium Finish at FALS; Crowned Track Champion
1Behind the wheel of the Nutrien Ag Solutions #42 Open Wheel Modified, McKay Wenger was one of 37 cars signed in at Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) on Friday evening for Track Championship Night. Following the 12th fastest time overall in qualifying, Wenger landed a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Mike Chasteen Jr. positioning him 8th on the starting grid for the A-Main. Wheeling his way into podium spot, Wenger passed five cars to place 3rd behind Mike McKinney and Allen Weisser with Donovan Lodge and Nick Allen completing the Top-5 finishers.

With his performance on Saturday, Wenger was crowned the Fairbury American Legion Speedway Modified track champion.

August 18, 2018 - Wenger Places 2nd in Fair Race at Fairbury American Legion Speedway
Saturday night found McKay Wenger in action at Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) competing in a field of 19 UMP Open Wheel Modifieds for the 142nd annual Fairbury Fair race. Dropping one spot in his heat, Wenger scored a 2nd place finish behind Mike McKinney earning him the 3rd-starting position for the A-Main. Jumping up one spot in the 20-lap affair, McKay Wenger posted a runner-up finish behind McKinney with Jeff Curl, Jason Hastings, and Donovan Lodge completing the Top-5 finishers.

August 11, 2018 - 4th Place Finish in Modified Special at Fairbury
McKay Wenger invaded Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) on Saturday evening for the $2,000-to-win A-Main. In a field of 25 cars, Wenger followed up the third fastest time overall in qualifying with a heat win. Earning the 3rd-starting position for the main event, McKay fell one spot notching a 4th place finish behind Mike Harrison, Mike McKinney, and Jeffrey Ledford with Mike Chasteen Jr. coming in 5th.

August 4, 2018 - Runner-up Finish at Fairbury American Legion Speedway
Piloting the Creative Kitchens & Bath #42 Open Wheel Modified entry, McKay Wenger was one of 18 cars registered in for action at Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) on Saturday for the regular night of racing. After laying down the fastest time overall in qualifying, Wenger cruised to a heat race victory positioning him on the pole for the A-Main. Battling with Jeffrey Ledford for the top spot, McKay came up short at the line to place 2nd behind Ledford with Mike Learman, Dan Rork, and Jimmy Farris Jr. completing the Top-5 finishers.
