July 28, 2018 - Wenger Salvages 10th Place Finish in Prairie Dirt Classic at FALS
On Friday evening McKay Wenger made the short trip to Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) for the 29th annual Prairie Dirt Classic. With a stout field of 61 Open Wheel Modifieds on hand for four rounds of preliminary features, Wenger secured his spot into the A-Main on Saturday night with a 3rd place finish in the 20-lap preliminary feature

July 21, 2018 - FALS Called Due to Rain; Wenger on the Pole
Saturday night found McKay Wenger in action at Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) for a tune-up for the upcoming Prairie Dirt Classic. Following the fastest time overall in a stout field of 33 cars, Wenger streaked to a heat race victory. Slated to start on the pole, race officials made the decision to call off the rest of the night after one Super Late Model heat was completed.

July 13, 2018 - Wenger Lands Podium Finish at FCR
Powering the E-Bolt Supply #42 entry, McKay Wenger invaded Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Illinois) on Friday evening competing in a field of 16 Open Wheel Modifieds. After starting the night off with a heat race win, Wenger dropped one spot in the feature to place 2nd behind Allen Weisser with Rodney Standerfer, Kevin Morrow, and Zac Oedewaldt rounding out the Top-5.

July 7, 2018 - Runner-up Finish With Hell Tour at Farmer City Raceway
1Friday night brought McKay Wenger to Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Illinois) returning with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour for the 16th stop. In a field of 26 Open Wheel Modifieds, Wenger followed up the fastest time overall in qualifying with a heat race victory. Earning the pole position for the A-Main, McKay dropped one spot to place 2nd behind Mike Harrison with Ray Bollinger, Jeffrey Ledford, and Mike Chasteen Jr. completing the Top-5 finishers.

On Saturday at Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) for the regular night of racing, McKay registered the second quickest lap behind Tyler Weiss in qualifying before streaking to heat race win. Starting the feature in 2nd, Wenger faded one spot late to place 3rd behind Jeffrey and Jay Ledford with Donovan Lodge and Steven Brooks trailing them across the finish line.

McKay is currently leading the points standings at Fairbury Speedway, second at Farmer City Raceway, 1st in overall UMP points in Illinois and 16th nationally.
