June 29, 2019 - 2nd Place Finish at Farmer City Raceway
McKay Wenger was one of 14 Super Late Models on hand at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Illinois) on Friday evening for the regular night of racing. Following the second fastest lap overall in time trials, Wenger posted a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Mike Glasscock which positioned him 4th on the starting grid for the opening night feature. Gaining two spots, McKay scored a 2nd place finish behind Kevin Weaver with Donny Walden, Mike Glasscock, and Myles Moos rounding out the Top-5.

On Saturday night for another round of the FALS Cup at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois), Wenger locked his spot into the $2,500-to-win A-Main with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Ricky Weiss. Starting the feature in 4th, McKay got caught behind a wreck on the sixth lap of the feature that forced him to the tail. He decided to save equipment and retired early.

June 22, 2019 - Top 5 Finish at Hartford; Gains Nine Spots in Hell Tour Stop at FALS
1Friday night saw McKay Wenger make his first career start at Hartford Speedway (Hartford, Michigan) for the American Ethanol Late Model Tour sanctioned Corn Growers 40. In a field of 22 cars, Wenger secured his spot into the $4,000-to-win A-Main with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Ryan Missler. Starting in 7th, Wenger gained three spots in the 40-lap affair to place 4th behind Brandon Thirlby, Logan Arntz, and Rusty Schlenk with Travis Stemler coming in 5th. (Jim DenHamer photo)

The following night at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) for the tenth round of the rain-soaked DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour, Wenger recorded the third fastest lap in his time trial group but mechanical issues saw him retire early from his heat. After failing to make it out for his consolation event, McKay was granted a provisional into the $10,000-to-win finale. Starting on the tail, McKay Wenger improved nine spots in the 50-lapper reeling in a 12th place finish.

June 8, 2019 - Wenger Claims Runner-up Honors at Fairbury Speedway
On Saturday night McKay Wenger returned to Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) powering his Nutrien Ag Solutions No. 42 Super Late Model entry for the fifth round of the FALS Cup. After laying down the fastest time overall in a field of 16 cars, Wenger streaked to a heat race victory which positioned him on the pole of the main event. Battling with Mike Spatola for the top spot, McKay came up short at the line to place 2nd behind Spatola with Ryan Unzicker, Kevin Weaver, and Mike Glasscock trailing them to the checkers.

June 1, 2019 - Runner-up Finish to Unzicker at Fairbury Speedway
Finished 2nd @ Fairbury American Legion Speedway tonight! It was great racing for the lead all race. What a great day and night in Fairbury. The stands were packed. I haven’t felt so much love from the community in years. I’m really grateful for all the fans this weekend. I think we had 40 kids in and out of the race car today. What an awesome night. Thank you everyone! Nights like tonight keep us racing.
