November 22, 2019 - McKay Wenger to Pilot Rocket XR1 in 2020
After returning to the Super Late Model ranks full-time in 2019, McKay Wenger has acquired a Rocket XR1 Chassis for the upcoming 2020 season which will be powered by a Pro Power Racing Engine.

During the 2019 season, McKay attended a total of 29 events behind the wheel of his Creative Kitchens & Baths/ Nutrien Ag Solutions No. 42 MB Customs Late Model. Losing five of his scheduled dates to Mother Nature, Wenger recorded one win, 13 Top-5 finishes, and 21 Top-10 outings. He finished third in the final FALS Cup point standings at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.).

October 27, 2019 - McKay Wenger Hangs on to 3rd Place Finish at Quincy
1McKay Wenger was one of 16 Super Late Models on hand at Quincy Raceway (Quincy, Illinois) on Sunday afternoon for the Kenny Pratt Memorial. Following the second fastest lap in time trials behind Rich Bell, Wenger posted a runner-up finish in his heat behind Jeremiah Hurst. Earning the fifth-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main, McKay and another car made contact while batting for a podium spot that knocked loose a hood-pin. Completing the final seven laps with limited visibility, Wenger notched a 3rd place finish behind Mike Spatola and Brent Larson with Rusty Griffaw and Matt Bailey rounding out the Top-5. October 19, 2019 - Early Exit in IL State Championship at Peoria Speedway
On Saturday night McKay Wenger headed to Peoria Speedway (Peoria, Illinois) for the 65th annual Illinois State Championship. In a field of 28 DIRTcar Super Late Models, Wenger edged his way into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with a 4th place finish in his heat race. Rolling off 10th, McKay began working his way forward until a flat-tire near the halfway point of the 100-lapper sent him pitside. After rejoining the field from the tail, Wenger was forced to pull off four laps later with a right-rear tire packed full of mud.

October 12, 2019 - Wenger Lands 4th Place Finish in FALS Frenzy Finale
1After losing Friday night’s opener to Mother Nature, McKay Wenger was one of 39 Super Late Models signed in at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) on Saturday for the rescheduled FALS Frenzy. Following the fourth fastest lap in his time trial group, Wenger captured a 10-lap heat race victory which positioned him 3rd on the starting grid for the main event. With $15,000 on the line, McKay slipped back to 5th late in the 60-lapper but battled back to place 4th behind Brandon Sheppard, Billy Moyer, and Shane Clanton with Shannon Babb coming in 5th. August 31, 2019 - 11th Place Finish in AELMT Invasion at FALS
1Saturday night saw McKay Wenger return to action at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) for the American Ethanol Late Model Tour sanctioned program. In a field of 35 cars, Wenger edged his way into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with a 4th place finish in his heat. Passing four cars in the 40-lap feature, McKay posted an 11th place finish. December 10, 2018 - Wenger Wraps Up 2018 Slate With Five Wins
The 2018 season saw McKay Wenger compete in a total of 32 events while capturing five wins aboard his Nutrien Ag Solutions/ Dave Wenger Transportation #42 Elite Chassis Open Wheel Modified. With the weather determining the outcome of four of his scheduled dates, Wenger collected 30 Top-10 outings and 23 Top-5 finishes. He was crowned the Fairbury American Legion Speedway track champion and the state of Illinois UMP Modified champion.
