Mechanical woes sideline Wenger at Farmer City

Friday night found McKay Wenger in action at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Ill.) competing in a field of 20 Late Models for the track’s season opener. Following the ninth fastest lap overall in time trials, Wenger scored a third place finish in his heat. Starting the feature in fifth, McKay ran into overheating issues early that forced him pitside.
