Wenger walks away injured in violent wreck in St. Louis

On Friday afternoon, McKay Wenger made his Gateway Dirt Nationals debut at The Dome at America’s Center (St. Louis, Mo.) piloting the Tom Finch Automotive No. 25W for the fifth edition of the event. After clocking in ninth-fastest in his time trial group, Wenger was battling for a transfer spot in his heat race when contact with another competitor sent his car flipping down the front-stretch.
