Motor woes end Wenger's run in One for the Road at Fairbury

McKay Wenger made the short trip to Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) on Monday afternoon as the Castrol FloRacing Series entered town for the second annual One for the Road. With 31 Late Models registered, McKay jumped up two spots in his heat race to register a second-place finish. Earning the fifth-starting position for the $15,000-to-win A-Main, Wenger worked his way into a podium spot early and was closing in on the leaders when he experienced engine issues on the 20th circuit.
