Wenger runner-up at Fairbury Speedway
McKay Wenger made his lone start of the weekend on Saturday afternoon at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) aboard his Popejoy Plumbing No. 42 Late Model for the FALS Cup weekly racing event.
With a heat race victory placing him on the front row for the $2,500-to-win A-Main, Wenger chased pacesetter Mike Spatola to the checkers in the 25-lapper to secure runner-up finish. Kevin Weaver, Rich Bell, and Donny Walden completed the top-five finishers.
