Wenger attends Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series doubleheader at FCR & FALS
Testing the waters with the stars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS), McKay Wenger returned to Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Ill.) on Friday for the third annual Farmer City 74.
Against a stacked field of 54 Late Models, Wenger shuffled two spots in his heat to finish sixth, relegating him into a B-Main. Needing to place second or better to transfer into the $25,000-to-win A-Main, McKay fell short with a sixth-to-fourth run.
His weekend drew to an early close on Saturday with a 10th-place finish in his B-Main at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) aboard the Curless Motorsports No. 99 Late Model.
