Wenger wires Glen Thompson Memorial at Peoria Speedway

McKay Wenger returned to action on Friday afternoon at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Ill.) aboard his Curless Motorsports No. 99 Late Model for the track's Dave Wenger Trucking Night.

Finding speed late in the $1,500-to-win weekend opener, Wenger climbed four positions in the 25-lap A-Main to register a third-place finish.

On Saturday night at Peoria Speedway (Peoria, Ill.) for the Glen Thompson Memorial, McKay pulled off a clean sweep as he followed up the fast time honors with a flag-to-flag victory in his heat and the feature. He earned a $1,500 winner’s payday for his first win of the 2024 season.
